What is your ‘Wildly Important goal’?
Though, I have many aims and objectives in life, but ‘Wildly important goal’ for me is to achieve professional excellence in my life after my graduation by becoming a supply chain strategist. I am extremely dedicated towards achieving this goal and have formulated a personal development plan (PDP) to reach the heights in my career. I have realized time is in limited supply and I must use all my conscious and unconscious strategies to ensure that I utilize the available the most, to achieve my goal which is very dear to me.
- Who do you want to be (characteristics) not what do you want to be?
I firmly believe that to achieve my ultimate goal, I must develop certain qualities, traits or characteristics. I believe that the development plan may change with the passage of time and I may develop as per situational context and developmental progress. I must be hardworking, honest with myself, and should use my time effectively and efficiently. Besides, hard work and commitment to my work comes naturally to me and effective plan could help me reach my ultimate goal to become a supply chain strategist.
- Can project Management helps achieve these goals?
I firmly believe that project management can help any individual achieve goals. Because, by planning, implementing and continuously reviewing and evaluating the goals help to achieve the goals and objectives. In addition, to achieve long term goal, short-term strategies must be developed and project management can help in it. In addition, by developing the plan and organizing, an individual’s ability to make decision gets enhanced and with continuous growth and development, skills and knowledge improves and goals can be achieved more easily.
